Grief/Loss

Everyone experiences grief and loss throughout life. We manage it, however, in different ways. Often we are taught that we must "be strong" for others and we may take great pride in our ability to handle loss. But a loss that isn't grieved may lie on the heart like a leaden weight.

Losses can be cumulative--each handled very well at the time, but with grief work not done and overlapping with the next loss. Depression that repeats itself at a particular time of the year maybe linked with a death or loss that happened a long time before. What experiences of loss have you had in the last 5 years?

As we said above, these tend to add up and may make you feel you are moving slower and slower with sadness. But you do not have to drown under it all. You can work through it and be in a much better place.

We offer life experiences as well as treatment methods to help you move through the grief process.
